The Full Gospel New Life Association has established this scholarship in loving memory of Dr. Linda M. Jones, the First Lady of FGNLA. The Dr. Linda M. Jones Memorial Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate academic promise and aspirations for higher education through Christian principles. This program is a reflection of her dedication to "Excellence Through Education".

Education was very near and dear to Dr. Jones' heart. She established the Truevine Christian Day Care and Academy.  The day care accepted age’s 0-4 years; the academy was from grades K-12. There was one High School graduate from the academy.  In 1989, the church won the “Frederick Douglas Award” for outstanding community services. In light of her hard work and steadfastness to education, this scholarship program carries on that legacy.

Dr. Linda M. Jones was truly a dedicated woman of God and has a deep desire to work with education and women ’s ministry. She was a mentor for women in various areas of ministry, in and outside of Truevine Holy Temple Church. She desired to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Jones established the Women’s ministry group; (W.O.R.D) “Women of Righteous Destiny”. Throughout the past 40 years, Dr. Jones has worked very closely with her husband and pastor, Apostle James A. Winans-Jones in every area of ministry. Dr. Jones was the First Lady of Truevine Holy Temple Church in Dallas, Texas. 

 

It is in this spirit of service, dedication and devotion, that we have established this scholarship program in Dr. Linda M. Jones' memory.  Please live to be involved and interested.
